CPS Mission Statement

To assist adults with significant support needs to choose, obtain and maintain employment in integrated community settings and to assist these adults to progress in their chosen career paths and in living independently.

What is CPS?

CPS is a community-based organization that provides services for students in transition and young adults with learning and developmental disabilities. CPS is committed to empowering transitioning students to achieve their full potential as they move into the adult world after graduation.  To achieve this goal, CPS assists students and their families with:

* Accessing appropriate services from state agencies:  Division of Developmental Disabilities, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and Social Security Administration

* Accessing transportation services in the student's community

* Job sampling opportunities in local businesses prior to graduation to give them a variety of work experiences

* Accessing alternate programs, for those students who will not be seeking employment
